Gaming monitors put a great impact on your gaming experience and it may seem it doesnt put a great impact but it actually does. Today we are going to see some of the best monitors that pros use for their professional gaming and daily steaming program. There are a lot of pro players out there but I’m going to filter out the best of the best monitors that is being used by professional gamers in 2024.

Zowie XL2586K (Tenz)

Starting with Tenz, a professional ex CSGO player who has now switched to Valorant and making history through winning the Valorant Championship tournament. So what monitor does he use for his daily streams and gaming.

For gaming his main monitor is Zowie XL2586K gaming monitor and he competed in the native 16:9 aspect ratio. And for streaming he uses Zowie XL2566K gaming monitor. From his recent streams we have found that sometimes he uses his streaming monitor as his main monitor because both models are almost the same.

The Zowie XL2586K provides up to 540 hz refresh rate and the fun fact is this company sent Tenz to use and review this monitor but the fell in love with this one because of its performance and smoothness which comes with Fast TN panel, new DyAc 2 Technology Auto Game Mode by XL Setting to Share and new height adjustment powered by industrial-grade bearing design that comes with the sizes of 24.1 inches to 24.5 inches.

You can get this monitor at the price of $999 from amazon today and since it’s a new monitor and it provides 540 hz it should be that expensive because they made this monitor for gamers who play competitive Esports games and don’t want to fall behind

.

Alienware AW2518H (Clix)

Well known Fortnite player Clix has been using Alienware AW2518H for a couple months now. This is the same monitor that ninja uses for his daily  gaming and streaming. This is a 240 hz gaming monitor that provides quality gaming performance and smoothness. There are a lot of 240 hz gaming monitors out there but Alienware provides the best output and  it is one of the best monitors that you can buy in 2024 for gaming. This monitor is the beast.

It comes with the same aspect ratio of 16:9 with 400 nits brightness, 1ms response time and contrast Ratio of 1000:01. It’s a 25 inches monitor that comes with LCD display type and also supports NVIDIA G-Sync technology and custom AlienFX lighting. It also comes with a TN panel like the previous monitor we talked about. It comes with a USB downstream port with Power Charging USB 3.0 port (2x) USB 3.0 port. Picture quality is really good and the display also gets really bright.

It is a little bit cheaper than the first monitor we talked about but hey its only 240 hz that almost provides everything that you are looking for in a gaming monitor. The starting price of this monitor is $700 and could be a good deal for you if you are looking for a 240 hz monitor.

It can sync with your other Alienware products, or even compatible games, which is a plus point since Alienware is looking forward to making good changes for gamers who really don’t want much of a trouble but enjoying their leisure time or doing their professional gaming/streaming.

At this price range this could be your daily life monitor and you really should cop it.

ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM (Shroud)

Let’s talk about Shroud who’s a professional gamer and a well known streamer for a decade he uses ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDM gaming monitor. Which is quite expensive but it provides you the output that you really need. This is also one of the best monitors that you can buy to have a great gaming experience and quality time.

This is the Asus ROG Swift PG  OLED gaming monitor. And given the specs, the size and also the price, this is shaping up to be one of the best all around gaming monitors and one you might actually want to buy. I mean, what’s not to love? It’s a 27 inch, 1440p 240Hz OLED with 1000 nit brightness, decent compatibility, FreeSync Premium Pro and it’s also incredibly color accurate with this ten bit panel. It’s like checking every single box that I would want for a gaming monitor.factor. Coming in at £1000 or $1000. This is pretty pricey for a 27 inch. But compared to, say, the Sony Inzone M9 which is about the same price and only offers a one 240Hz IPS, this 240Hz OLED seems like a pretty good deal, but it’s not alone.

Well, essentially each pixel emits its own light and so in a very dark scene can be turned off completely, giving you those perfect blacks without any nasty backlight bleed or blooming. Which of course affects the contrast on regular IPS, VA and mini-LED displays. Plus, OLEDs offer fantastic HDR with a wide color gamut, great color accuracy, faster response times, and also a lower input lag. However, the main compromise with these has always been brightness. But with this new Asus ROG and also its LG cousin, we’re now seeing much higher brightnesses than older OLED monitors, and it’s also now paired with a 240Hz refresh rate. But the boost in brightness is down to the new MLA or Microlens array technology, which is very similar to LG G3 TV.

As for ports connectivity, well, it’s okay, we get two HDMI two, no 2.1 in sight, which is a bit of a shame, although considering this is a 1440p and not a 4K resolution, it’s not actually the end of the world for laptops and desktops. HDMI will limit you to 1440p at 120 Hz or full HD 240. And sadly, there’s no USB-C option for your laptops. But we do also get a DisplayPort, which is what I would recommend if you are hooking up to a desktop PC. And if you’re plugging in your PS5 or Xbox because you might want to use this with your console, especially with that brightness and the OLED screen, again, you don’t have those bandwidth limitations because it’s not 4K. 1440 P120 but it’s absolutely fine.

Although it costs $999 would you be tempted to buy one of these or give it a miss? I think it’s a great monitor for gaming and I know it’s quite expensive but you can’t get a good monitor at a cheap price right so why not get it. I can assure that you won’t regret purchasing this monitor because the build quality and performance is outstanding.

ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP (Mr Savage)

Now let’s talk about Mr Savage who’s a professional Fortnite player and who has been dominating the Fortnite pro scene for a while now. He uses ASUS ROG Swift Pro PG248QP. Which is another 540 hz monitor and it’s also quite expensive but i promise you this won’t make you regret because its good i mean it’s surprisingly good enough for the gamers who want a 500+ hz monitor for their gaming/streaming.

Playing games at over 500 frames per second, and I want to see all of those frames. But I have reviewed a 500Hz monitor previously and it was disappointing. The response times were pretty average and the image was really soft. But this one is different. But before I tell you how unique these monitors are, I’m actually going to tell you all the bad stuff first. So it’s only 1080p, it’s only 24 inches and It has a TN panel of 2023. It has an extremely goofy stand and it is very expensive. Now that that’s all out of the way, let me show you something really cool. So there are a lot of 360 Hz monitors out there today, and I think we’d all agree the jump from 240Hz to 360 is a small one. The jump from three 60Hz to 540 Hz is also not as massive as it sounds, but now you have a huge difference between 240 and 540Hz. It’s over a doubling in the amount of frames, and the boost in overall smoothness is just insane. I’ve never said that about any three 60Hz monitors, but 540 really kicks it into a different gear.It is one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen on a monitor.

Pricing

The primary benefits as well of that Physical G-Sync module are mostly apparent at lower refresh rates, which most people won’t be using this monitor for. This thing is supposed to launch at $900 in US, which you know, is pretty steep for a 1080p monitor, but at the same time, is it overpriced if it unlocks an experience which you can’t get anywhere else. Since the pricing is too high, when you are looking forward to buying a 500+ refresh rate monitor with 1ms response time you have to pay this amount of money to get it. It’s not like it’s that overpriced but this is normal pricing for many people.
